Tuning up your Chakras is as important to your health as is anything else you do for your body and mind. Most certainly apply the following techniques when you are feeling less than perfect and I strongly suggest to give yourself a Chakra cleaning periodically.
Chakras are not easily diagnosed with our eyes. In order to see what the state of any Chakra is, I use a crystal pendulum. You may need a friend to help out, which is a nice way to heal each other, and practice. Lie down, and have your friend place a pendulum directly over each chakra, one at a time.
The 7 Chakras
The Root or Base chakra is at the base of the spine, right at the bone. For this one, you need to lie on your stomach.
Working our way up, (and turning over) the second one is the Water or Sex Chakra located directly on the pubic bone.
3rd is the Solar Plexus, midway between the navel and chest.
The Heart is the 4th chakra and is located in the center of the chest at the heart.
The 5th is the Throat Chakra, at the Adam's Apple.
The 6th is the Third Eye, between the brows.
And then there is the Crown Chakra, at the top of the head.
Diagnosing with a Pendulum
Take a few deep breaths, letting them out slowly. Place the pendulum's point about 2 inches above the chakra. Now just wait a bit. The pendulum is likely to do one of several things.
It may stand dead still, which means that the chakra is not open and spinning, therefore not able to receive any energy.
It may start spinning slow clockwise or counterclockwise. Spinning slowly is better than not at all but rapid spinning is ideal, and clockwise is better than counter, but at least there is movement.
It may move in a straight line horizontally or vertically, which indicates a resistance or block or something stuck emotionally.
It may even do a little dance where it spins, and does a vertical move simultaniously.
It may spurt and stop, and spurt and stop again, and then start up into a healthy spin, or just stop.
If the pendulum makes a large clockwise circle with a fast spin, that chakra is in perfect shape. But if you witness any of the other scenarios, or even one I did not mention, the chakra needs healing.
One immediate way to heal is by taking the pendulum and turning it clockwise slowly, for at least 3-5 minutes over each center. And yet another quick fix would be to place your right hand over the center in need of balancing, and rotate the hand in a circle, as with the pendulum.
Each variation of the spinning of the pendulum means something else for the chakra. But what is important for now is to recognize an open chakra from a closed one, and what to do to fix it, at least for now, since the nature of the chakra is always changing.
Once the centers have been treated, take the pendulum and check again. You will more than likely see healthier activity. If not, then try another 3-5 minutes.
In Part III, I will offer some powerful meditations you will be able to do on your own, or in a group, that will polish your chakras right up.
And by the way, if you want an instant shot of energy and balancing for your chakras, go outside and hug a tree!
The tree's chakra system matches ours, but is so much more powerful due to it's connection with heaven and earth (roots into the earth and leaves reaching upwards). And the tree is only too happy to share!
